Monica Cabrera

Safety Learning Specialist 

Monica Cabrera joined Pinnacol Assurance in 2022. In her role, Cabrera creates a variety of health and safety content for Pinnacol customers, including blogs, social media and other digital resources. As a bilingual speaker, Cabrera is uniquely qualified for her role. She develops content for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences, which allows her to provide a broader group of customers with the tools they need.

Cabrera holds years of experience in the safety industry. She worked as a safety technician at Martin Concrete, a safety manager at Jay-Ton Construction and a safety technician for Nordson Medical before joining Pinnacol. She attended West Virginia University, where she completed the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 510 course for construction industry safety. Cabrera has also completed the OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 courses and is a certified forklift instructor.
