As a safety consultant for Pinnacol Assurance, Cora Gaines keeps employees safe on the job by analyzing trends, reviewing written training programs and conducting physical inspections. Her innate ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively helps her customers save money and implement successful safety programs.

Specializing in staffing agencies and professional employer organizations, Gaines has been a member of the Pinnacol Assurance team since 2007 and uses her experience working previously as an underwriter and new business representative to maximize efficiency, safety and return on investment. 

Gaines has bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and business management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). She holds Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Insurance Services designations from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (AICPCU). Gaines received her Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
