As a Senior Safety Consultant for Pinnacol Assurance, Michael Hayden analyzes data to identify insights to help customers reduce employee injuries. With 33 years of experience in loss control and prevention for a variety of commercial insurance carriers, Hayden deeply understands the science of risk management and pairs that with an empathetic nature and the ability to develop relationships.

By working with customers to help build a framework for robust safety culture, he drives organizational change that has led to an increase in employee safety awareness and a decrease in incidents and injuries.

Hayden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in safety from Illinois State University and has a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and is a Certified Risk Manager (CRM).
