Investing in your employees' safety is one of the most important decisions you can make for your business. Pinnacol's on-site, in-person training programs bring expert instruction directly to your workplace, offering a range of options to suit your specific needs. Whether you're looking for a quick overview of essential safety practices with our 1-hour (or less) general safety classes, building a solid foundation with our Fundamentals of Safety Training, or seeking a deeper dive into specialized topics with our multi-day Advanced Safety Training (often culminating in valuable certifications), we can help you create a safer and more compliant work environment.
Our new Safety Education and Training team is dedicated to providing consistent, expert-led training and resources, ensuring all our customers receive the same high-quality information, either virtually or at their business. This investment in standardized training, delivered by our Safety Education Specialist and Safety Learning Specialists, will ultimately create safer workplaces.
We've enhanced our program to ensure we provide the most effective safety training. We now offer complimentary virtual training, allowing us to deliver consistent, high-quality content.
As part of this enhanced program, each customer receives one free in-person Fundamentals of Safety training session per policy period, conducted at their location. Additional in-person training sessions are available at a customer's physical location for a fee. *some exclusions may apply
All Advanced Safety Training courses are available in-person and for a fee.
Finding the right training program can feel overwhelming. To help you choose the perfect fit, use the comparison chart to evaluate which training best meets your organization's needs, your career goals and your available time.
• Do you prefer the flexibility of virtual learning, the hands-on learning of in-person classes, or a blend of both?
• Are you looking for a quick skills boost (one hour or less) or a comprehensive certification program?
Note: Each of our training courses utilizes a dedicated, standardized PowerPoint presentation. This ensures consistency and quality across all deliveries. While the core content remains consistent, we understand that different industries have unique needs. Therefore, we frequently customize the examples and hands-on activities within each presentation to be more relevant to your specific business. *Some restrictions may apply.
Q. Why are there costs associated with training?
A. We've improved our safety training by shifting from "train-the-trainer" sessions at our office to direct, on-site training for our customers. This allows for more effective, hands-on learning. Our expert Safety Education and Experience team delivers all training. All Fundamentals of Safety courses are free virtually, and each customer is eligible for one free in-person Fundamentals of Safety training session. Advanced Safety Training is offered for a fee.
Attendee and travel restrictions may apply. See below for additional information.
